Hitting the scene as a defining member of Wham! from 1981-1986, Michael would go on to release 5 studio albums, 2 compilation albums, 40 singles, 16 music videos, 4 video albums and various featured appearances with many artists. World renowned for his hits, “Faith” (1987), “I Want Your Sex” (1988), “Father Figure”, “One More Try”, “Monkey” and “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me” (1991), Michael has sold over 90 million records worldwide.
Michael was found lifeless on Sunday at his home in Goring in Oxfordshire, England. Authorities were quoted in stating that his passing is being treated as “unexplained but not suspicious”.
Mr. Michael’s manager, Michael Lippman, told The Hollywood Reporter that Mr. Michael had died of heart failure “in bed, lying peacefully.”
